Just before 4 o'clock this morning, the first alarm came about a car fire in the Sätra district. The police had to move to five different addresses, all within the same area in Sätra. Shortly thereafter, cars had started burning at four more addresses, and a total of 14 cars were damaged in various ways.

Curt Lindberg woke up from the sound of fire trucks and looked out to see a car burning. He also discovered that his car was also starting to burn. The rescue services were then in full swing with the extinguishing work.

- You have nothing better to do than burn someone else's cars? he says.

No person was injured

A major police operation has worked with the incident during the night and the police have blocked off at the fire places.

"We have every reason to believe that there is a connection between the fires," Andreas Örth, RLC commander of the police, told SVT earlier this morning.

No person has been injured in the fires.
