Leipzig (dpa) - Early end: The German Dota star Kuro Salehi "KuroKy" Takhasomi (27) and his team Nigma have already left the Dota 2 Dreamleague Major in Leipzig. The Peruvian team beastcoast defeated Nigma 2-1 in the second round of the Lower Bracket.
In the decisive game of the best-of-3 series, things looked balanced for a long time. Both teams were always able to gain small advantages. Beastcoast had chosen rather unusual heroes with Disruptor in Mid Lane and Nyx, whom Nigma could hardly endanger.
The decision came in a massive team fight for the 40th minute, in which the Peruvian team was able to eliminate all opponents and penetrate their base. Past the towers and barracks, they attacked the base core directly and threw Nigma out of the tournament.
KuroKy is considered the most successful German e-athlete. In 2017 he won the World Cup with Team Liquid, in 2019 he reached the final. After the World Cup, he announced that he would leave Team Liquid with his colleagues and set up his own organization Nigma.
