According to the press service, "this friendly exchange of views between the allies on the fields of the WEF was the first opportunity to meet in person and compare positions on a number of key issues, in particular on trade, technology and energy."
“This was the first meeting of the two leaders. Both sides agreed to meet soon in Washington to advance the transatlantic agenda, ”the EC added.
