They choose a smaller BB - despite the longer distance from home

Mia Vindelhed and her friend Viktoria Tegenfeldt live neighbors in Tvärålund in the municipality of Vindeln. Mia is halfway into her pregnancy and Viktoria holds the latest supplement in her arms.

Mia gave birth to the first child with normal childbirth, but Victoria has given birth to all three of her children through caesarean sections. The first was emergency and happened in Umeå. While the other Caesarean sections were planned, the first was done in Lycksele and the second in Umeå.

And Victoria is more than happy with the care at both hospitals.

- I thought it was very professional in both places. But the good thing about Lycksele is that it feels much calmer on BB itself. It is nicer in Lycksele, says Viktoria Tegenfeldt.

From Tvärålund, it is about 8 km to Lycksele and 5 mil to Umeå and pregnant Mia Vindelhed who gave birth to her first child in Lycksele has already decided to give birth in Lycksele again.
