Although it is still winter, the mild weather has caused the hazel to start blooming. At the pharmacies in Jönköping you have noticed that more and more allergy sufferers are coming in with their complaints.
- We have noticed it partly on self-care, but also on the prescription, says pharmacy technician Nora Merza.
But that the pollen season would have started unusually early is actually not entirely true.
- As it has become much more common with mild winters, it is actually almost more rule that there is pollen in the air now, says Åslög Dahl, researcher in biology and environmental sciences at the University of Gothenburg.
