After a first day "in project mode" in Nice, the XV of France continued its preparation for the first match of the Six Nations Tournament, against England, on February 2, with a second day, Tuesday, rather calm.

Cardio for some, recovery for others ... As the day before, the 42 Blues were divided into different groups, according to their state of form, some having played their last match on Sunday, like Antoine Dupont and François Cros (Toulouse), Virimi Vakatawa and Boris Palu (Racing 92), Gabriel Ngandebe (Montpellier), entered in the European Cup, or by Gervais Cordin and Louis Carbonnel (Toulon), who played in the European Challenge.

On the program for this second day, group exercises, indoors or in the field, with a session in the morning and another in the afternoon, interspersed with treatments and massages.

"Quiet training? The morning session (Monday, Editor's note) stung even if we will get into the heart of the matter from tomorrow. Some played Sunday so today, it was mainly based on recovery for them" , had also explained the day before, the Bordeaux Matthieu Jalibert, in a video published on the FFR website.

However, serious things begin on Wednesday for the "new" Blues, with a first training session open to the public, first temperature measurement twelve days before the start of the Tournament.

The XV of France is gathered in Nice until January 31. The group will be reduced to 28 players on Thursday. The composition of the team that will start the match against the English will be announced on January 30.
