Saharan revisited in the twinkling of an eye with Saint Laurent, long slit and belted dresses, subtly transparent embroidered tunics: Julien Fournié paid tribute to the "adventurers" in a haute couture collection that does not exclude sensuality.

As usual, the Frenchman presented on Tuesday a locker room showcasing the female body, revealing endless legs and bustiers. But to dress these adventurers of modern times, "capable of traversing the jungle like dancing the waltz", he opted for silhouettes less corseted than usual.

The designer has mainly bet on embroidery-talismans covering long katfans or "gray-gray as collected over meetings and discoveries" accessorizing more strapped outfits emphasizing the size, describes a note of intent given during the parade at the Louvre oratory, a Protestant temple located in the heart of Paris.

For this parade called "First Conquests", the designer, who counts among his clientele many Saudi and Singaporean women, opted for music evoking both the adventure film "Lawrence of Arabia" and the song of religious inspiration.

"Far from any precise identification with a single geographic or ethnic origin, these women mix the elegance of their culture of origin with the fantastic discoveries of those they have gone through (...), specifies the card given to the spectators.
