"Fadime, we will never turn your back on your sisters and brothers," says Sara Mohammad, founder of the national organization GAPF (never forget Pela and Fadime), when she speaks her eyes to Fadime's grave during the memorial.
On Tuesday, around 50 people gathered at the old cemetery in Uppsala on the anniversary to pay tribute to the memory of Fadime.
- Fadime's struggle lives on through our activities, and by running it daily. We make sure her fight never dies, even though her body is dead, says Sara Mohammad.
In January, Fadiimagarna is organized by about 100 organizations around Sweden.
