Berlin (dpa) - The world war bomb found in the center of Berlin in the morning was defused shortly after midnight by police specialists. The police said on Twitter. Previously, the police had set up a restricted area around the location of the bomb near Alexanderplatz. All people had to leave the area. Among them were 1900 residents of apartments, hotel and restaurant guests, employees in offices and sellers in shops. Many people had to stay in emergency shelters and were only able to return to their homes at night.
