Beijing (AP) - Two other patients have died of the new lung disease in China. This was announced by the health authority of the central Chinese city of Wuhan. Six deaths have now been confirmed since the outbreak in December. As the state broadcaster CCTV reported, the number of confirmed infections rose to 291. Yesterday, the authorities had announced that the pathogen could be transmitted from person to person. Evidence has already been reported from Thailand, Japan and South Korea.
