Questions were also worked out regarding the immediate isolation of infected people, medical monitoring of contact patients, and laboratory diagnostics in institutions of the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare.

“Measures have been taken to train medical personnel ... An interaction has been established with the authorities of the PRC and the World Health Organization,” Golikova said.

Earlier, Rospotrebnadzor made recommendations to Russians when traveling to China to prevent the spread of cases of diseases caused by the new coronovirus.

According to the latest data, in China, a total of 291 cases of 2019-nCoV infection were registered. Six people have passed away.
