Dubai Executive Council Decision No. (7) for the year 2020 regarding organizing appointment in the private contract’s system in the Dubai government has set several conditions for appointment under the private contract. According to Article No. (3) of the decision, the conditions are as follows:
Appointment is made pursuant to the contract for approval of the General Manager, provided that the position and employee meet the conditions stipulated in paragraphs (b) and (c) of this article, and the position that may be appointed under the special contract is required to be a grade (13) Thirteen or more, according to the job evaluation - to occupy it requires the availability of scientific qualifications and specialized practical experiences, obtainable in the labor market - to be among the central functions of the department - to have an approved financial allowance within the department's annual budget -
And those who are appointed under the special contract, must provide the scientific qualifications, practical experiences, technical competencies and specialized skills required to fill the job, which would provide an added value to the department, and pass the technical and behavioral tests approved by the department.
