The speed of modern life faced by man makes him sometimes hesitate to go to the doctor for examination, and to ensure his health safety, due to the limited time and the large number of daily obligations.

According to statistics, a man needs to see a doctor more than a woman, especially when signs of some health problems appear on his body, but he does not pay any attention to them on the pretext that they are temporary symptoms and will disappear with some time.

In her report, published by the Spanish newspaper "Confedencial", the writer Ada Nuno said that people are sometimes unaware of what some health symptoms conceal, which could indicate a condition that requires medical intervention.

The MOM website published a report highlighting some of the more serious symptoms men should take into consideration and not ignore, especially if they suffer from them continuously.

1- Coughing
It is normal for a man to have a cough if he has a cold. However, it is necessary to see a doctor if he has been coughing intermittently for more than two weeks without any signs of recovery. Generally, the two-week rule is effective in many cases because the symptoms of the most serious diseases usually appear during this period.

2- Swelling of legs or feet
Putting feet on a pillow when lying on the bed is one of the best solutions a person can follow when they have swelling. Perhaps consulting a doctor becomes necessary when the swelling continues. "Edema" (the medical term for fluid retention) can be a sign of a number of health problems, such as diabetes, heart disease and cancer.

3- Chest pain
Chest pain is a sign of a long list of health problems, and not all are serious. However, it is necessary to see a doctor if you feel pain in the chest, arms, or upper abdomen, and coronary artery blockage, heart attack, or pneumonia are the main symptoms of chest pain.

4- Stomach pain
Recurrent stomach pain can be an indication of a chronic disease, such as Crohn's disease, irritable bowel syndrome or hernia.

5- The presence of blood in the stool
Exposure to intestinal or rectal bleeding may be a sign of cancer or some other serious health problem. And if you notice something like this, visit the doctor directly without hesitation.

6- Changes in the skin
The appearance of spots on the skin is one of the symptoms that indicate the presence of health problems at the level of the skin. Perhaps these symptoms predict a man's possibility of developing skin cancer. Therefore, skin changes are not just symptoms of aging in some cases and should not be ignored.

7- Constant fatigue
Feeling sleepy all the time is not just a sign that you're tired. In this context, persistent fatigue is a symptom of a wide range of health problems, such as not getting enough sleep, depression, heart or lung problems, vitamin deficiencies, or diabetes.

8- Mouth sores
Oral ulcers are health problems experienced by a large percentage of people, and if they last more than two weeks, you should consult a doctor, as they may indicate oral cancer in the most dangerous conditions.

9- Recurrent fever
Recurrent fever is a sign of some cancer or a dangerous virus, especially if it is accompanied by other symptoms such as headache, rapid weight loss, fatigue, and unexplained pain.
