Ukrainian Foreign Ministry demanded to remove the trident from the British manual on extremism

“We are awaiting an official comment from the British Foreign Office and the police. We proceed from the understanding that it will be made public in the near future. In case of confirmation of the mentioned fact, we demand to exclude Ukrainian state symbols from the allowance, ”the ministry said.

The ministry noted that any connection of the state emblem of Ukraine, which is the trident, with extremism offends the feelings of millions of people in Ukraine and abroad.

Earlier, the Ukrainian Embassy in the UK reported that the National Anti-Terrorism Agency of Great Britain (NCTPN) placed a Ukrainian trident in its anti-extremism manual.
