The police are making another attempt with a firefighter

There are several surveillance cameras at the National Gymnasium that are now to be reviewed by the police.

- We will check if there are interesting observations from the films. It may be that we have heard a person who has been in a certain place a certain time and then we can check that it is correct. It is to exclude that unauthorized persons were on the scene, says Daniel Axelsson, head of the police unit for serious crimes in Linköping.

The police have started a crime scene investigation after the heavy fire in which a total of 123 cows and calves were burnt. However, no cause of fire has been identified at this time.

- We have searched with a dog, but no combustible liquids have been found and we have not found anything that reinforces that it would be a lit fire, says Daniel Axelsson.

The technical investigation continues and the police will now deal with firefighters.

- It is always difficult to find a cause of fire in fires, whether it is a fire that occurred naturally or that is caused when there is such a total fire, says Daniel Axelsson.
