4704 people on average have seen Skellefteå AIK play home games during the season. Björklöven, which plays in the division below, has had an average of 4618 people.

Anders Blomberg is happy that more and more people are starting to find Björklöven's matches this season and he says that they will work hard to keep the audience.

- We have a more attractive hockey product here. We have a greater hockey interest here and that is what we see the result of now, ”says Blomberg, who therefore hopes that Björklöven passed Skellefteå AIK when the club sums up the season.

No worries about Björlöven's increase

Håkan Billing is marketing and sales manager for Skellefteå AIK and he is not worried that Björklöven has barely entered the audience, but is pleased that his own team has increased the audience since last season.

He also says that he believes that audience revenue in both teams would increase further if Björklöven took up the highest league, SHL.

- Yes but of course. There are two full-fledged derbies so it's clear that the influx of crowds would increase, he says.
