The investment will give municipalities and regions better conditions for planning in health care, school and elderly care.

"It is gratifying that the government has listened to the needs in the country and that our region is now receiving a general reinforcement that we can use for the benefit of the sororities," says Monica Johansson (S), Chairman of the Regional Board of Sörmland, in a press release.

A total of SEK 5 billion will be spent on health care, schooling and care throughout Sweden. An additional SEK 750 million will be used to reduce crime and increase security in the country.
