Johnny will soon have a place with his name in Paris. The forecourt of the AccorHotels Arena in Bercy (12th arrondissement) will soon be called the "Johnny Hallyday" esplanade, reveals Le Parisien . According to information from the daily, the place has been identified, and the family has just given their agreement: a deliberation will be submitted to the vote of Parisian elected officials on February 3 to confirm the choice.

"The very intimate story that was tied between Johnny Hallyday and this room"

"It seemed natural to us to do it there because of the very intimate story that was tied between Johnny Hallyday and this room where it occurred 101 times, including 73 solo," explains Emmanuel Grégoire , first deputy of the mayor of Paris, and candidate for municipal elections in the 12th arrondissement.

Johnny Hallyday died at the age of 74 from lung cancer in December 2017.
