“To refuse to satisfy the administrative claim ...”, RIA Novosti quotes Judge Nikolai Romanenkov’s decision on the case of the resource “Dad, you are a transformer,” who asked that the order of the supervisory authorities, which allows blocking articles on drug users, be declared unlawful.

It is noted that the clause prohibits information "aimed at creating a positive image of drug manufacturers, developers and drug users in the target audience."

In December 2018, the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs decided to block an article on a heroin addict on the resource "Dad, you are a transformer," because it contained information aimed at "creating a positive image of people who use drugs."

Earlier it became known that the government introduced a bill to the State Duma on fines for the promotion of drugs on the network. According to the document, the amount of recovery from individuals will be up to 30 thousand rubles, and from legal entities - up to 1.5 million rubles. The initiators of the amendments note that the Internet is becoming a popular means of disseminating information about drugs because of its reach and the possibility for attackers to remain anonymous. According to experts, in addition to propaganda, the Internet also offers drug traffickers other opportunities and this should be addressed in a comprehensive manner.
