The attack took place near Place Saint-Pierre in Toulouse. - B. Colin / 20 Minutes

It is not the first time that the sixty-something man has attacked his victim. Sunday afternoon, near the Saint-Pierre district in Toulouse, a homosexual in his fifties was threatened in the middle of the street by a 63-year-old man with a knife because of his sexual orientation. According to the victim, the same man had already insulted her a year ago for the same reasons. This time, the police were not far away and intervened to arrest the sixty-something man.

In police custody, the man admitted that he had thrown the knife into the Brienne Canal. He has been brought before the courts and is expected to be tried on Tuesday, in immediate appearance. An aggression took place while the association Act-Up Sud Ouest was mobilized, the same day in Toulouse, against homophobia and Manif pour tous.
