- It's so calm and quiet, completely different to Holland. We have lived in Rotterdam and there are people everywhere, says Mac when SVT finds him at a pimple hole on Lake Almas, just outside Yttermalung.
Wife Aafke agrees:
"I like everything and hope you don't attract more foreign tourists here, we want it for ourselves," she says jokingly.
The couple has purchased a package tour that promises winter sports. They have been on site for a day and have been able to test pimpling and ice skating, the rest of the week continues out in the wilderness and into the mountains.
- For ten years I have dreamed of coming here. We have been promised snowmobiling, snowshoeing and dog sledding, I have not tried anything before and I already love it, says Mac Steenaart.
