The Acting Director of the General Administration of Penal and Correctional Institutions, Brigadier Marwan Abdul Karim Muhammad Abdul Karim Julfar, revealed that Dubai Police issued 1158 certificates to those who are interested electronically since the service was implemented in September last year.

A report of the General Administration of Punitive and Correctional Institutions in Dubai Police showed a decrease in the number of dealers present in order to issue certificates to those who matter to the inmates, after converting the service to obtain the certificate from manual to electronic, through the site and the smart application of Dubai Police since last September.

The Dubai Police has announced a smart transformation in providing a service requesting the issuance of a certificate to whom it may concern for inmates in penal and correctional institutions in Dubai, to be presented on the website and smart application, within the framework of the smart transformation in the field of providing services to customers.

Julphar explained that the shift in the various services to be electronic comes in compliance with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate, Intelligent transformation in various government services, to make it easier for customers and save time and effort.

He added that the permanent supervision and support of the Commander in Chief of Dubai Police, Major General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, contributed to the improvement of the various services provided to the public to make them happy, and to provide innovative and quality services, pointing out that the customer can request a certificate for those who matter in attendance of a value of 195 dirhams, and electronically, the price drops to 95 Dirhams, to encourage customers to implement services electronically.
