Pursued by another vehicle, a driver was shot several times on Friday early in the afternoon in the Vernet district of Perpignan, says L'Indépendant .

Having managed to escape the bullets of his attackers, he stopped his vehicle before climbing the wall of the elementary school Victor Duruy where there were very many children. His pursuers for their part did not cross the walls of the enclosure.

Psychological unit for children and teachers

Called by the teachers, the police interrogated the man who was shot. His attackers, however, have not been found and, apparently, have not been identified.

The children were confined during the intervention. There were no injuries. The school was closed in the afternoon. A psychological unit will be set up this Monday for students and teachers.
