The number of victims of the attack on a mosque of the National Army of the legitimate government in Ma'rib, central Yemen, has risen, and President Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi has accused the Houthis of carrying out the attack, which he described as a "cowardly terrorist operation."

A medical source in Marib Hospital said that at least seventy people were killed in the attack that targeted a mosque in the Fourth Brigade Camp, a presidential protection, northwest of Ma'rib Governorate, on Saturday.

The French Press Agency quoted medical and military sources on Sunday as saying that the attack was carried out by Houthi missiles at a mosque in Marib Governorate, but the Houthis did not claim responsibility for the attack.

Anatolia news agency quoted a military source, who preferred not to be identified, that there are many wounded, indicating that the victims, most of them are conscripts.

The Yemeni president said - according to the official Saba news agency - "The shameful actions of the Houthi militias undoubtedly confirm their unwillingness or delinquency for peace, because they are only good at the project of death and destruction and represent a cheap tool for Iran's agenda in the region."

The Yemeni President said, "Such operations committed by the Houthi militia against the gatherings and up to the places of worship with their blatant aggression, they also embody its ugly, abstract face of religious and moral values."

Hadi asserted the Yemenis' intention, with the support and support of the coalition led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to "cut off these groups and repel their exotic sectarian project on Yemen and the region."
