Pompeo has no scheduled meetings with Russian representatives in Berlin


The schedule of US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo does not plan meetings with Russian representatives at the international conference on Libya in Berlin.

According to data on the website of the US State Department, Pompeo has scheduled meetings with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, UAE Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas and European Border Diplomacy Josep.

The Russian side in Berlin will be represented by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Earlier it was reported that Pompeo arrived in the capital of Germany.

The conference will be held on January 19th. The head of the Libyan National Army, Khalifa Haftar, and the head of the Libyan National Accord Government, Faiz Sarraj, are invited to attend.
