Earlier, Italian Foreign Minister Luigi Di Mayo, in an interview with Il Messaggero, called for tougher sanctions against those who continue the armed conflict in Libya.
The international conference on the Libyan settlement will be held in Berlin on January 19 with the participation of Haftar, Sarraj, Russian leader Vladimir Putin, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, representatives of Britain, France, China, the UAE, Turkey, Congo, Italy, Egypt, Algeria, as well as a number of international organizations .
