Hundreds of people reported problems with the popular messaging app WhatsApp Sunday morning, although WhatsApp has not yet publicly recognized the problem.

The famous Down Detector recorded problems sending and receiving media messages on WhatsApp.

According to the site, Europe is the most affected region, although parts of Asia and South America are also facing severe service disruptions, and in the Middle East region, Turkey and the UAE, which have registered numerous complaints regarding the video and photo service on the platform, have long been cut off.

This interruption is the latest in a series of interruptions that hit the application owned by Facebook, with a major accident in March of last year, which led to users stopping for almost a full day.

The application uses more than five hundred million people daily, and many of them have expressed their annoyance through Twitter and Facebook.

A WhatsApp spokesperson did not immediately reply to a request for comment for Down Detector.
