The Secretary General of the Awards of the Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Excellence in Educational Performance, Dr. Jamal Al Muhairi, revealed that the institution used - for the first time - the application of "Skype" to conduct personal interviews in the category of outstanding students in the Gulf countries, and then the experiment is subject to evaluation until it is circulated to the categories The other, pointing out that the number of candidates to win the Foundation's awards reached 535 candidates, with 338 candidates at the local level, 84 candidates at the level of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, and 113 candidates in the award for best educational research at the level of the Arab world.

He pointed out in press statements that the second stage of the arbitration began with conducting personal interviews for students nominated for the local level categories, where the nominations came by four posts in the school category, 234 in the student category, 26 in the university student class, 23 in the distinguished teacher category, and 33 in the category Excellence in education, four in the innovation category, three posts in the project category, seven in the family category, and four in the categories of institutions supporting education, while the Gulf competitions came 32 posts in the student category, 26 in the teacher category, 21 in the school category, and five posts in the category A super-distinguished landmark.

The award conducted local competition interviews with 113 nominated students in the distinguished student category, and five students in the university student category, at the Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Center for Talent and Innovation in the Al-Bada region.

Al-Muhairi explained that the award’s central arbitration goes through two stages: the theoretical arbitration stage, and it has already been completed, while the second stage is the stage of field visits and personal interviews.

For its part, the chairperson of the Distinguished Student Committee, Dr. Ousha Al-Muhairi, said that the experience of electronic arbitration helped to create new atmospheres at the level of both students and arbitrators, and stated that the percentage of participants, who moved to the second stage of the arbitration, reached almost 50%, and now it has Participants had experience in identifying required documents, and there was prior training for participants on standards.
