He added that a female citizen whose vehicle fell on the edge of a rocky road on the Jebel Jais road was rescued without any injury, as the driver lost the ability to see the road as a result of the heavy rains that fell on the mountain road last Saturday, which led to the slide of her vehicle and its fall by a depth of one and a half meters On a rocky road, before being rescued by the residents of the region, and its vehicle was recovered by the Emirates Rescue team.

He pointed out that Al Ain ranked second in the reports, as the department received more than 250 reports of drowning of vehicles, school buses, trucks, government vehicles and people trapped in rainwater, in the areas of Qasr Al Rawda, Zakher, Lake Zakher, Ain Al Faida, and Al Bateen.

He explained that while inspecting sunken vehicles at Al-Rawda Palace in Al-Ain on Saturday last week, he saw an Asian truck driver suffering from extreme exhaustion and hunger, as he immediately provided assistance to him and was removed from the truck by the rescue team, and delivered to the nearest ambulance.

He added that the driver stated that his truck was broken due to heavy rains, and he was unable to get out of it for two days, due to the high water levels, and pointed out that he was sleeping in the truck cabin, and he only had a small bottle of water.

He pointed out that no one was able to find the driver or respond to his distress due to the distance.
