January 18, 2020 Ayatollah Ali Khamenei "must be very careful with his words": on Twitter Donald Trump replies to Iran's supreme leader who called him "a clown".

"The so-called 'Supreme Leader' of Iran - Trump writes - who has not been so Supreme lately, has had very serious things to say about the United States and Europe. Their economy is collapsing and their people are suffering. It should be very careful with his words! ".

"Make Iran Great Again!": Trump tweeted it, echoing his now iconic electoral slogan "Make America Great Again".

"The noble people of Iran who love America deserve a government that is more interested in helping them make their dreams come true than in killing them," writes the American president.

"Instead of bringing Iran to ruin - adds Trump - its leaders should abandon terror and make Iran great again!".
