The award received four veterans: Ekaterina Tuturova, Anatoly Klimov, Boris Feofanov and Valentina Andronova.
The anniversary medal was established on June 13, 2019 by Putin’s decree.
Previously, Putin arrived at the State Memorial Museum of Defense and Siege of Leningrad, where he examined the exposition.
It was also reported that Putin laid flowers at the Rubezhnom stone monument.
