Police Falkenberg and Hylte have published a post on social media warning of the fraud that seems to be directed primarily at elderly citizens.
- In the past few days, we have received around six reports of a specific fraud. We have looked it up and nationally it has become quite large, says station commander Anders Persson.
According to him, there are about 50 applications in the country since January 1 this year.
- I am absolutely convinced that there will be more, says Anders Persson.
At present, no one is suspected of a crime.
