Washington (dpa) - After the impeachment proceedings against US President Donald Trump in the Senate began, the Democrats have published new materials in the Ukraine affair. The businessman Lev Parnas handed these over to the Secret Service Committee, explains Adam Schiff, the House's leading prosecutor in the impeachment proceedings against Trump. Parnas is a business partner of Trump's lawyer Rudy Giuliani. He is said to have played a central role in his efforts to find incriminating material about Trump's political rival Joe Biden in Ukraine.
