January 18, 2020 Thirty protesters attempted to enter a Parisian theater last night where Emmanuel Macron and the premiere dame Brigitte were attending a show.

The attempt was rejected by the police. Macron and his wife were made safe, then they were able to return to the room to watch the end of the play. France Info reports.

Macron and Brigitte were attending the La Mouche theater at the Bouffe du Nord theater.

According to what has been learned, a man who was also in the room posted a photo of the presidential couple in the audience on social networks inviting the militants to intervene outside the theater: "Something is preparing, the evening will be lively", he written on Twitter. According to France Info, it is said to be Taha Bouhafs, a so-called 'militant journalist', who was subsequently arrested.

For a few minutes, Macron and Brigitte were secured, then returned to attend the end of the performance. Macron's entourage later made it known that "the president will continue to go to the theater as he is used to doing and will ensure that political actions do not violate freedom of expression, freedom of artists and freedom of creation".
