“The Libyan oil corporation declares a state of emergency in connection with the suspension of oil shipment at the ports of Al-Barika, Ras Lanuf, Al-Harika, Zaituniya and Al-Sadra,” RIA Novosti quoted the company as saying.
It is noted that the order to terminate the shipment in the ports came from the head of the department for the protection of oil deposits, General Naji Al-Maghribi and Colonel Ali Dzhiliani from the headquarters of the Sirte command.
In addition, the oil corporation said that Libya will lose $ 55 million a day due to stopping the shipment of oil in ports.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin and German Chancellor Angela Merkel on the eve of the Berlin conference on Libya discussed issues related to the planned event.
