German magazine "Baby & Family" reported that exercising during pregnancy has enormous health benefits for both the mother and the child, as it protects women from back pain and gestational diabetes, and also facilitates childbirth and reduces the chances of a cesarean delivery.

The child also benefits from exercising by the mother, as the risk of obesity decreases.

The magazine, Family and Child, added that the appropriate sports for pregnant women are walking, swimming, water exercises and cycling.

While ball sports such as handball and basketball are not suitable due to physical contact, taking into account exercising at a rate of 150 minutes per week in a moderate manner, and stop exercising in the event of any health problems, and consult a doctor who follows the pregnancy.
