Ukraine repeatedly asks Iran to provide Boeing flight recorders


The office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine again appealed to Iran to provide flight recorders of the Ukrainian Boeing 737 passenger plane shot down in Tehran.

The corresponding statement is published on the website of the department.

It is noted that on January 17, "the office of the Attorney General repeatedly requested the competent authorities of Iran to provide the Ukrainian side with flight recorders of the Boeing 737 aircraft PS752 flight Tehran - Kiev."

Earlier, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Vadim Pristayko announced Iran’s readiness to transfer black boxes to Ukraine.

Ukraine Airlines International Airlines Boeing 737 crashed on January 8 in Tehran, killing 176 people.

On January 11, Tehran admitted that the country's air defense system mistakenly shot down a passenger plane, mistaking it for a cruise missile.
