Berlin (dpa) - The Ministry of Justice has asked package holiday customers of insolvent Thomas Cook to not only file their claims with the insurance company, but also with the insolvency administrator. The ministry said that this was a prerequisite for receiving the promised money from the federal government. The federal government had decided to make up for the damage suffered by travelers who were not paid by Zurich Insurance. Since the sum insured is not sufficient for the total damage, the insurance only pays 17.5 percent.
