Sweepstakes prosecuted - knife-threatened colleague for fun

A female employee at a group residence in Karlskrona Municipality was exposed to a staged robbery by two other employees just over two years ago. One of the men was masked and equipped with a knife and forced the woman to leave her cellphone. Now the men are being charged with grossly unlawful coercion.



It was during the fall of 2017 that the incident happened when the woman was working night at the group residence together with a now 28-year-old man. the woman tells in interrogation that the man went out to smoke and when he came back he had a big masked man behind him and held his hands above his head.

The masked man tells her to give him his phone and when she says no he takes up a knife and holds it around her colleague's neck.

“I got very scared and did just as he said. I gave him the phone and ran away and sat down and got really shaky. "

Then it turned out that the robbery was a joke and that the masked man was another employee, a now 27-year-old man, at the residence.

The two men are now charged, just over two years later, for grossly unlawful coercion.

Pawed at the woman

The 28-year-old man is also charged with two counts of sexual assault. According to the indictment, he must have touched the woman's chest, put her hands on her hips and touched her butt.

When the head of the municipal administration became aware of the events, he immediately made a police report. Both men got fired from work.

Both men deny crime and and mean the staged robbery for a joke.

The 28-year-old also denies having sexually abused the woman.
