Munich (AP) - The actor Ferdinand Schmidt-Modrow died at the age of 34. This was confirmed by the television director of the Bavarian Radio, Reinhard Scolik, on Friday in Munich.
The family had communicated this to the broadcaster, said a BR spokesman for the German press agency. According to the family, the cause of death was an “unrecognized previous illness”. The 34-year-old died on Wednesday.
Schmidt-Modrow starred in the television series “Dahoam is Dahoam” as pastor Simon Brandl and in the telenovela “Sturm der Liebe” as Bertram Liebig. He has also appeared in several feature films, including the drama “Die Welle” alongside Jürgen Vogel and Frederick Lau.
