Bankitalia: 2020-2021 growth estimates down

16.45 Bankitalia cuts the Italian GDP growth estimates for the current year (+ 0.5% against the + 0.8% previously expected). Downward forecast also for 2021 (to + 0.9% from + 1%). Inflation will rise "slowly" over the next 3 years. Unemployment will decline gradually, to 9.4% in 2022. In January's Economic Bulletin, household consumption estimates are also expected to rise further in the fourth quarter. But uncertainty about the personal economic situation is also rising again.
