The Emirates Red Crescent Center in Ajman ended the activities of the past year 2019 with the support of 3686 families, with 16,234 beneficiaries. The support projects varied between humanitarian, medical, seasonal, and others devoted to people of determination, science students, and others, with a total value of 10 million and 969 thousand and 633 dirhams.
The medical support provided to beneficiary families in Ajman ranged between curative drugs, surgical operations inside the state, completion of radiotherapy, physiotherapy, drugs for people with cancer, hepatitis, in addition to kidney and urinary tract diseases, etc., and benefited from the support of 194 families, with a number of individuals It is 665 people, with a total value of three million, 107 thousand and 793 dirhams.
Saif Ibrahim Al Nuaimi, director of the Emirates Red Crescent Center in Ajman, said: “In 2020, we will provide what enhances the authority’s leadership in humanitarian and charitable work.”
2008 families benefited from the seasonal projects implemented by the center, and the materials provided included the Ramadan manager, in-kind materials, sacrifice distribution, zakat money, and other projects, with a total value of more than 920,000 dirhams.
Within the framework of support projects for people of determination implemented by the center, 40 families, 194 beneficiaries, benefited from the two projects of paying tuition fees for students with determination, and providing basic special needs, and the total value of the two projects amounted to more than 460 thousand dirhams.
