Pompeo at a conference in Berlin will advocate a ceasefire in Libya

This was stated at a telephone briefing for journalists by a representative of the State Department.

“He will speak for three points. The first is the continuation of the ceasefire. The second is the withdrawal of all external forces. The third is a return to the political process promoted by the UN, ”TASS quoted him as saying.

It was previously reported that Pompeo intends to attend the Libya conference in Berlin on January 19.

On January 16, it became known that the head of the Libyan National Army, Khalifa Haftar, agreed to take part in the Berlin conference.
