It is noted that along with this, the Iranian minister added that Tehran will accept Kiev's help in decrypting the black box.

“Zarif during this conversation announced Iran’s readiness to hand over the bodies of Ukrainian citizens and allow the specialists of this country to participate in the decryption of the black box,” the statement said.

Pristayko, in turn, thanked Iran for cooperation and taking responsibility for the plane crash.

Earlier, foreign ministers of Canada, Ukraine, Sweden, Afghanistan and the United Kingdom called on Iran to pay compensation to the relatives of the dead passengers of the Ukrainian plane that was shot down over Tehran.

Ukrainian Boeing 737 of Ukraine International Airlines crashed on January 8 shortly after departure from Tehran. The victims of the crash were 176 people.

On January 11, Tehran admitted that the country's air defense system mistakenly shot down a passenger plane, mistaking it for a cruise missile.
