Moscow (AP) - After the resignation of the Russian government, the lower house of parliament has confirmed the head of the tax authority Mikhail Mishustin as the new prime minister. The Duma deputies voted in Moscow with an overwhelming majority for President Vladimir Putin's preferred candidate. Mishustin can begin his work if the Kremlin chief confirms this with his signature. But this is a matter of form. Mishustin announced economic reforms as one of his first steps in the Duma.
