Prime Minister Abe, who had been visiting the Middle East, returned afternoon on the 15th after a series of meetings including a meeting with Saudi Arabia, UAE-UAE and leaders of Oman.

On a trip to the Middle East from November 11, Prime Minister Abe met successively with King Salman and Prince Mohammed in Saudi Arabia, Prince Mohammad Abu Dhabi in the UAE, and the death of former King Qaboos in Oman. I conveyed my condolences to the king.

In a series of talks, Prime Minister Abe shared with the leaders of each country that dialogue was important for stability and tension reduction in the Middle East, and agreed to work closely together to make diplomatic efforts.

On the other hand, Prime Minister Abe explained that the SDF will be dispatched to ensure the safe navigation of ships related to Japan, and support and cooperation from each country were attached.

Having completed a series of visits to the Middle East, Prime Minister Abe arrived at Haneda Airport on December 15 at 2:00 pm with a government aircraft.

Prime Minister Abe has decided to engage in discussions with the opposition parties in the regular Diet meeting to be convened on the 20th of next week, aiming at the early conclusion of the budget proposal and the issues surrounding the "Cherry Blossom Viewing Meeting".
