In turn, Angela Merkel noted that the next task is to ensure increased investment in the Ukrainian gas transportation system to increase its competitiveness, ”the report said.

Earlier, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak said that the Russian side does not see signs that Kiev plans to violate the agreements reached between Russia and Ukraine on gas transit.
