Malta published a list of Russians holding golden passports


The Government of Malta has published a list of persons who have received the so-called "golden passports", writes RBC. These included, among other things, namesakes of famous Russians.

According to the publication, the owners of Malta’s “golden passports” were the namesakes of the shareholder of AFK Sistema investment company Alexander Gorbatovsky, the main owner of the Chocolate network Alexander Kolobov, the founder and chairman of the board of directors of the Guta group of companies, Yuri Gushchin, as well as several other representatives Russian business.

In November, it became known about the plans of Cyprus to deprive the citizenship of nine Russians who received "golden passports" for investing in the country's economy.
