The founder of the Odessa children's military-patriotic club and a supporter of “anti-Maidan” Vitaly Nazlymov has been trying to obtain Russian citizenship for almost a year and a half. In 2015, a man was arrested by the SBU on charges of preparing a murder, planning attacks and storing weapons. As a result, he was convicted only on the last point, but Vitaly pleaded not guilty, calling the persecution political, and filed an appeal. However, even before its consideration, the man was released, because He had already served his time in jail. Almost immediately, Nazlymov left for Bryansk, where he tried to obtain Russian citizenship, but could not do this because of a formally open criminal record in Ukraine. At the same time, Bryansk officials entered the situation and recognized the case of Vitaly as extraordinary, advised to attach additional documents to the application for registration of citizenship and sent them to Moscow.
