The incident is initially classified as gross abuse and the man, who was awake and talkative when police arrived at the scene, has been taken to hospital by ambulance.
The police have held interrogations and taken more investigative measures, but no one involved has wanted to participate in the investigation.
There are currently no suspected offenders.
